In the Red literary magazine is now taking submissions of poetry and prose for its eighth issue, due out Spring 2010. We are looking to publish new and exciting authors alongside well-known names, so are keen to hear from any students who would like to see their work in print.

To submit poetry or prose for the next issue, email the editors at: inthered8@googlemail.com

Submission limits:

Poetry: 40 lines (a maximum of 5 pieces per person)

Prose: 500 words (a maximum of 2 pieces per person)

(Shorter pieces are very welcome.)

Please send us your work in Times New Roman font, 12point. Work can be sent in the body of an email, or as an attachment (.doc) labelled with your full name and Poetry/Prose as appropriate.

Anonymous work will not be accepted!

The submission deadline is 28th February 2010.
